Long Rest

Tomorrow is the last day of my 5 day weekend. I’m sad that I have to go back to work honestly, but at least I got in a recharge of sorts. The holidays are always nice thanks to the days off without needing to use PTO or sick days, but never give me that satisfaction like an extended weekend.

It’s been nice to do stuff around the house and spend time with the pups and my husband without it being dark, or timed. This week has been busy busy busy, but I still feel more rested than a normal week.

For now there are no plans for tomorrow, and I am secretly hoping nothing will come up. With my husband you never know though. I hope everyone has a great night!

Post Monday Things

Yesterday and today have been hectic but good days. So much house work got done, and yet so much is left to do.

But I’m thankful. For my husband that is skilled in most things. For my father in law that is always there when we need him. For my furbabies that always make me smile when I’m stressed or having a rough day.

My school work for the week is 95% done and I’m ahead of schedule which give me time to breathe and help out more at home.

I find that though I am lazy to the core, I have been enjoying putting in work to make our home so much better. It’s been amazing to see how far it’s come in the little over a year since we bought it.

Now for some down time with hubby and pups, and hopefully some cuddles. Have a great night everybody!

Post Monday Things

New Addition

The last few days have been both crazy and amazing. Long story short we have a new member of our family!

This sweet little lady is Lucy! She is an early birthday present and such a great addition. She is teething and trying to terrorize her older brothers but she’ll settle in a bit. Needless to say she’s been keeping me busy and on my toes.
